Schick Protector

Hey,
Has anyone ever used this razor? It has safety wires over the blades to protect more against nicks and cuts. It works pretty good, except it might not shave quite as close as a regular razor. Noxzema also makes a women razor with these wires, and I like using that one also. Schick makes one for women called Silk Effects. Some of these razors can be hard to find in stores.

These razors are expecially popular with those who tend to get ingrown hairs. All are good razors, but as you note, the drawback is a less close shave.

How come the Schick Protector is so hard to find in stores? You think it would be more popular and well known.

Yeah, but having protective blades over the razors is popular on the market. Even though the Protector has been around for sometime like you say, I dont ever remember it being advertised much at all.
