I had an hr electro on my face 4 days ago. The 1st day I had lots of redness and raised bumps (like insect bites) all over my face. I looked like I had a disease.

The next day I had many pinpoint scabs all over my face - I could not go out in public.

The 3rd day I still had scabs and raised bumps, but redness reduced.

The 4th day I still have scabs and raised bumps.

Should I keep seeing the electrologist? I really hate the way my face looks.

The electrologist has a zeiss microscope but doesn’t use it coz she says she prefers the circular magnifying glass.

My gut is telling me not to go back sigh**

Im in Toronto & I’ve been to a couple of places - I went to Sarah Shigley ( I waited 3 months for an appt) but she was really expensive ($50’for 15 mins) & she left me with red marks that haven’t gone away in 5 weeks.

Then I went to darina at 99 yorkville - she was ok but she said she couldn’t really see the hair & I should wait to grow it which is odd coz you can blatantly see hair! She didnt have good lighting or magnification.

This place is the laser clinic. The place is nice & they gave me stuff for aftercare. They said i should get some scabbing but i think this is excessive. The girl is supposed to be good at eyebrows & I’ve been dying to get them done.

I’m thinking about driving to buffalo for James to do my electro coz I feel like I can trust him from this board.

The 5th day the swelling has subsided a lot more, the scabs are still there.

The scabs are pinpoint and they look like some of the pics posted here, so I’m not sure if they’re normal. Anyway, the laser clinic called today and reassured me that they were normal. I requested to have another lady there to do the electro coz she uses the microscope. I will see how it goes and keep everyone updated on the progress.
