Sampling electrologists and choosing winner

I have light brown skin(not African American) with moderate amount of back hair overall and very hair upper back, especially near the shoulders.

I live in Atlanta.

I want to get electrolysis also on my ears as I am getting 4 or 5 stray hairs on each ear.

My skin is light brown. Got black hair. I am not hearing much good about laser being permanent. I tried waxing a few times and I am done with it. I just can’t handle the pain anymore and I have to let it grow enough to get another treatment anyway.

So anyway, I looked at this thread

Also, I looked at some yelp ratings. I am thinking of going to a few electrologists:
I choose 4 or 5 electrologists. Take one hour sessions with each of them. Go to one, get the an hour’s worth from the top right area of my back. Get a picture taken of my back. Go to a different electrologist, get another hour’s worth from the top left corner and take a picture. And so on until I get samples from 4 or 5 of them . Always have an electrologist stick to one side or the other so I can make it easy to compare one vs the other.
I want to finish this first round after a week(so 4 -5 treatments in a week).
Then I narrow it down to 2 or 3.
Do another round for another week.

By this time, I should have two hours worth of treatments from each of these docs. If I still can’t make a decision, keep going until I can tell the difference and stick with one. What do the readers here think of such a strategy?

Another reason to take pics after each treatment and labeling them in my collection would be to check some of the initial work back a couple of months later and see whose work resulted in the least hair growing back or any long term skin marks.

Would electrologists be motivated by this challenge(I will have to tell them or they will wonder how I lost hair on the other side after I return for a repeat visit). Or will they feel a little put off and don’t welcome their work being compared so blatantly? I figure my back has so much hair, there is plenty of work to go around.

Some of the names for me to try out that pop out at me are Mishael’s Electrolysis, Brenda Tolley Electrolysis, Goldie Fodor. I decided to avoid Voncille Burdette despite some good reviews in her favor as I am not trusting her long term results based on a couple of posts about her and a review I saw somewhere else. If others think otherwise, let me know, and I may give her a try. I will welcome any other suggestions.

I also may check out Dee Fahey if I am ever in Columbus(I got friends all over that part of the country). I saw her illustrated post about a guy’s back she did work on and his hairiness was similar to mine(he may be a tad more in the lower back). Also, I travel to Boynton Beach (FL), and Jersey a lot too. I go to Asia and south of the border once in a while. It’s too bad it’s tough to find reviews easily about electrologists there because I would assume it would be cheaper to get it done there.

The difficult part of this process is that you wont be able to tell how effective the treatment is until much, much later on down the track when those hairs would have grown in again. I would think the hair cycle of the back would take a long time.

In the meantime, you will probably end up judging the practitioners on speed, pain levels and skin reaction. Just be aware that your pain tolerance or pain perception will vary greatly over the period of a week, depending on how hydrated you are and if you are female, what part of your cycle you are in.
