maybe it can help the skin heall faster and leave less damage?
Even though I am neither an electrologist nor a dermatologist, I’d advise you not to rub the scabs, and to let them heal on their own.

Yes, indeed. If you remove scabs, then you could get scars. Only exfoliate after your skin has healed, meaning no scabbing should be present.
