Rotary epilators on men

Are these rotary epilators good to use for thicker hair as on the chest? And which would be the best one to use? I just heard about these and am seeking more information on them…thanks for any help…

Do these products actually make the hair grow thinner? On the emjoi site they have a lotion that’s suppose to make the hair grow thinner and slower, does anyone know if this is true? Thanks.

Yes, you surely could use a Epilator on your chest. However, like any first time of waxing/threading/epilating it will be uncomfortable.
After that, each routeine time will be a breeze.

If you want to epilate, trim the hair to about 3mm’s before you epilate or the hair will hang for a fraction of a second before it is removed thru insuring more uncomfortableness.

As like any part you epilate, you will need to exfoilate everyday or you might get them ingrowns and red spots.
I’ve read that the hair doesn’t change thickness when you wax/thread/epilate but I have actually seem a man’s beard hair’s thichness when he first started to epilate his face and I surely remember them hairs were thicker and got thinner in just a couple weeks. Now maybe a mans beard is the exception since that hair is of a different part of the body.

I can tell you from experience it does not change the thickness. What is actually happening is that the new hairs that grow in are young and thin, but once the hairs mature they will be just as thick as before epilation.

One thing too note is that if you let the hair grow all the way out and mature after having epilated for a while the hair may be thicker I dont mean individual hair thickness, but the amount of hair could increase (basically areas where the hair was short previous too epilation, could have longer hair if let grown out, so the new hairs that grow there could grow longer…)

However as long as you keep up a regimen of epilating regularly all will be good, however I find that difficult (due too the pain)

It will be a wonderful day when I can use gene therapy and eliminate unwanted hair for good. Hopefully that will happen sooner than later! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
