Risk of nerve damage?

Does anybody know if there’s a risk of nerve damage when doing electrolysis? Particulairly in “sensitive areas”?

(Not to gross anyone out, but what the hell it is the internet - electrolysis to remove hair from a penis, hypothetically? It definetely seems worth knowing for sure.)
