I came across a website - www.riobeauty.com - they are selling a laser hair removal home kit and I would like to hear opinions from people who have used this kit, before I purchase it as it is quite expensive.

i am also interested in this item and i have ran a search on the forum with no results concerning the rio laser kit. can you tell me the downside of purchasing this item?

NONE of the home laser products have been found effective. if any of them were, this forum where people are spending thousands on professional laser removal wouldn’t exist. common sense <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> professional machines cost $50K+. There is no $100 or even $4K device that is substitutable and powerful enough to be approved for home use.

true but hasnt this kit just been introduced to the market and also this kit is being sold by reputable retail outlets such as Argos. is there anyone who has tried this kit? : here is the link to the product from Argos -

there are dozens of these products “introduced” to the market. how does it give it more validity?
