Rio device for removing the hair permentaly

Hello everyone,

I really need urgent answer for my question PLEASE !!

I wanna buys a small device called Rio … a laser device to kill the room of the hair what do u think ? did any one of you try that device ? I have dark hair which grow so fast and white skin so what do u advice me ? and salon is too expensive and need many times .

I already ordered the device and they will come after three days … but I could have chance to cancel that as I didn’t pay yet ! but still I NEEEEEEEEEEEEED IT so much !

These things are really scammy, but they sure make money for the makers.

Here are some reviews from people who say they purchased these products:

I have the Rio Home Laser product. I couldn’t find any real reviews online, but I went ahead and bought it.
Don’t waste your money. It takes about 8 seconds to do each tiny patch and 3 weeks later the hair was still rooted. The head is so large that it is hard to target specific hairs or awkward areas. I have had professional laser hair removal and it is infinitely better.
If you want to buy a home product check out Tria. It looks more effective and there is a 30 day money back guarantee. (James’ note, I would not buy Tria either, but you can look at what people are saying about those here by using the search feature)

Yeh Hi Im a guy, Device had absolutly no effect on me, tested several large areas. I took the device back to agrous with in 14 days and told them it was broken (well it didnt work) I know it should take a while for hair to fall out but this didnt happen even several weeks after using. I’ve had laser hair removal done at a salon and that worked in fairness even that didnt remove some hairs. Argous don’t do a 30 satisfaction garuntee mmmmmmm I wonder why? Maybe cause it don’t work?

ok… i got one this week. i can already tell tou it doesn’t work. lasered the same hairs for 4 days. but they do not come out. some hairs burn to the skin. but that’s all (James’ note: This is another reason the FDA isn’t too keen on the general public having anything that actually works. People who miss use the product hoping for “faster” results.)

don t waste your money…that thing doesnt work

this product does not work i have tryed for a year zero results

It’s a waste of money. There is no cheap alternative to professional laser or electrolysis treatments. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking that a $100-300 device will do the job of a %50K+ machine. We would all be using it if it worked.

James and Lagirl …thanks for the add I do appreciate it … I canceled my order now BUT what’s the alternative ?

Is there kind of pill to help reducing the hair ?

It would be helpful if you describe your hair problem in more detail. Okay, the hair is dark - skin is light, but what else can you tell us?

There is no kill-pill for hair. There are androgen blockers like spironolactone, but even doctors say that this is still unproven because it not evidence-based science.

Electrolysis and laser hair redduction are the two modalities worth pusuring. Electrolysis works on any hair color, any hair structure on any skn color. Laser is best used for dark coarse hair on pale skin. Both methods work best when the best equipment is used, with skill.

Dee

As I mentioned earlier its dark … very long and grow up fast ! so fast within week even i use wax !

I heard that … some kind of porblem like this is related to hormones … and there is some kind of pill can arrange the hormones in this case . Do you have please any information about that ?

It won’t remove the hair for ever but it will help reducing the hair or the stength of the hair .

Which is better ? electrolysis or laser ? and which is more safe and less cost ?

And thanks a lot for the answer … and the effort u do to help me Dee.

Electrolysis is better than anything for very permanent hair removal;period. Pearl…

You’re not providing us with enough information. Please answer the following questions:

  • Are you male or female? How old are you?
  • If you’re female, do you experience regular periods and/or facial hair growth? If so, how bad is it?
  • What areas would you like to treat?
  • Do you want reduction or complete removal? What on which area?
  • Is the hair coarse? What color? How dense? “Long” doesn’t really matter to determine the method. We need to know what area, how much hair, and how coarse it is. Coarse is the type of hair that’s on the bikini and underarm area.
  • Are you male or female? How old are you? I’m femail and 21 years old

  • If you’re female, do you experience regular periods and/or facial hair growth? If so, how bad is it? About the peridos its usualy regular and sometimes a few days earlier and no I don’t have facial hair growth upnormal its very light.

  • What areas would you like to treat? I want all over my body especially my arms and my legs and tummy and all all .

  • Do you want reduction or complete removal? What on which area?I prefer complete removal sure , but reduction will be better than nothing.

  • Is the hair coarse? What color? How dense? “Long” Yes it is very coarse and black and like three hairs growing togather in my legs and arms.

really matter to determine the method. We need to know what area, how much hair, and how coarse it is. Coarse is the type of hair that’s on the bikini and underarm area.

I want safe method that doesn’t leave any marks in my skin or change its color .

and thanks for ur help and sorry for the late reply .

my best regards for u lagirl

Both laser and electrolysis is safe and effective in good experienced hands. Laser would be the best option for your legs and arms where the hair is very coarse like bikini hair. Everywhere else where hair is finer, like your face, you need electrolysis.

Please read the laser FAQs below. You need to figure out what laser type is best for your skin type and then do free consultations with at least several clinics that have it to figure out which one is most experienced and knowledgeable. Same with electrolysis.

I’m not sure how much money you have saved or if you can take a loan provided by clinics or use a credit card, but arms and legs are large areas, so it won’t be cheap. Half arms or half legs cost about $250-350 per treatment and you’ll need 6-8 treatments in total, one every 3 months. Small areas like underarms cost only $50-100 per treatment. Electrolysis costs around $65 per hour and removes 5-10 hairs per minute.

Btw, if you see hair return within 1 week after waxing, it’s likely that the waxing is not done properly and the hair is breaking off half way as it comes out.
