Hi everyone,

About 5 weeks ago I had my first professional laser session on the lower back. After 2-3 weeks, most of the hair had grown back in most of the area, though apparently thinner. I guess that was expected. However, an area of about 3 x 2 inches has no sign of re-growth until today. I can see/feel there is some very small hair in that area but it is either growing very slow or not growing at all.

My question is: Is it possible that, just after the first session, the hair in that area has been totally eliminated?

Something is not being done right here. You’re supposed to see all treated hair shed 2-3 weeks after the treatment. Whatever hair is still there at that point wasn’t affected. It sounds like most wasn’t in your case. And it takes longer than 5 weeks for NEW hair in the next phase of growth to come out. Hair grows in cycles, so you will see NEW hair from the next phase on that area soon.
