The hairs look black and the skin doesnt look too bad to me, admittedly i specialise in tg clients but hair is hair and everybody is different but your client falls into an average i think, Im not familiar with your machine as i use a fischer compublend, I would start with a ss probe #3 , 40% thermolysis and 70ma of galvanic, 125ul as they look quite inbedded in there . If there is scabbing i find its generally my thermolosys is too high but if its not high enough you wont get a slide release. As long as there is lye coming out from galvanic the hair will treat, even if there is a bit of resistance on removing the hair. Upper lip i only use Galvanic for comfort, I dont use thermolosys or if i do i only use a minimal amount. Those black juicy hairs should be lush and easily removed, good luck.
We use silhouette Tone HD and XHD
Have no idea how that compares to your machine.
I can only offer thermo and blend.
Using BLT 20/10/8 for numbing,
So she has good comfort level.
Thermolysis at the high intensity was a little much, I think. used on right
Using # 3 and 4 insulated Ballet Probes
And or #4 Protec insulated probes
On the left side
Using Blend with about 40 units lye.
Getting a fairly traction free release.
Client tolerated well, skin looks ok. The right chin, she did do a little scratching, but it calmed down. The left which I treated that day I took pics looks ok.
I think I should have turned down intensity and increased the timing. I think it was too much. Energy on right.
Client is very happy but of course I would like to give her the best safe results.
Plan is to get a full clearance on lower face,
Then work on upper lip.
I appreciate your feedback and advice.
Will keep you posted.
Oh yea, we do offer laser and was considering thinning area out some. Then finishing up with electrolysis. What do you
Doesnt the machine have manual mode ? I found a you tube video go to 10:37 and you can pick electro (galvanic) thermo (RF) or Blend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIdoiTy8Rys
Probes, any reason that your using insulated? In my opinion and experience the insulated probes tend to drown out the rf (thermolysis) , this could be untrue , im just saying what i find with my machine. I only use them if im trying to use high currents and dont want to burn the surface of the skin. Just try something like the Ballet Stainless steel or if she is reacting to the nickel use the ballet gold #3 size . Your machine looks like it has so many settings you need a bachelors degree to use it, i prefer 2 knobs, one galvanic and one thermolysis, at the end of the day it all leads to one goal, kill the follicle with as little discomfort as possible. scabbing never comes from galvanic only so i assume its too high thermolysis that does it .Im unsure of your machine settings , mine has thermo out of 100 (a safe setting is 40%) and my galvanic is in milliamps (I recommend 70ma) , timer 125ul is about 10 seconds and start from there . Its hard not knowing your machine, there are so many out there i just KIS , Keep it simple Good luck.
