Reputable Schools In Ontario, Canada? (Electrolysis)

I’ve been researching and looking for a good place to learn Electrology and possibly Laser hair removal.

I would ideally like to go through a Diploma program as I understand they’re more thorough/in-depth?

Would anyone have good recommendations, in Western Ontario ideally, although I would be willing to travel up to 2 hours if there are better schools elsewhere (like the GTA).

This is what I’ve found so far;

Gina’s College (they offer both electrolysis and laser, and they’re the closest in proximity to me. Also offer hybrid classes which is a huge plus for me. Although there’s some questionable reviews about them online?) Has anyone heard of or gone to Gina’s?

And then I was looking at these other schools but they do not offer Electrolysis programs…
Canadian Beauty College (this is my second or first choice against Gina’s, but is twice the drive for me. Offer part time studies which would be easier for me to not drive down that far daily.)

Canadian Academy of Aesthetics (seems good?)

National Laser Institute (I hear they’re really good?)

Lambton College (closest place but more expensive? Also teach other modalities in their program, which is a bonus I suppose?)

Humber College (their course looks good, but far travel for me)

George Brown (also good course but far travel)

If you have certified electrologist nearby you you can train with, I might recommend doing so through Swansons Canadian Institute of Electrolysis’s Certified electrologist distance learning program. You can contact the owner of Swansons, Karen Dykstra for more information on this.If you are looking for a trainer, I could recommend Allison at AS electrolysis in Scarborough. In fact the GTA is a good place with lots of transgender clients and is extremely underserved for electrologists.I couldnt afford to live there, but there is no doubt that an electrologist can do very well there.

If you shoot me a PM,I’ll provide you with Karens contact information. Diisclosure: I am am a graduate of Swansons, and am currently training electrologist Sasha Sharp through Swansons.She will be likely however my last that I personally train. It’s my hope that when I retire in the very near future that Sasha is able to take over where I leave off and continue to support the transgender community here in Ottawa. .
