Hello everyone, I want to remove a dark mole I have on my lower stomach (you can see it in the image I provided). I thought about removing it with cryogen technique (at a medspa) but I read that certain hair removal lasers can do this. Can the Gentlemax remove skin tags such as moles?
By cryogenic technique are you referring to freezing with liquid nitrogen? Any reason why you prefer laser? I’m just curious.
You could be substituting a mole for a tiny scar (depending on the outcome). Why not just leave it alone and maybe “take a vacation” (That’s what Dr. C would tell me!)
At first glance that mole seems just like a perfectly positioned beauty mark, it needs to be appreciated.
Yes, the mole would be freezed using liquid nitrogen. I just want to know all of the options I have for removing this mole. I don’t really consider it a beauty mark and some people told me to go to the dr. and see if it is cancerous before removing it.
I read that the GentleMax can remove skin tags so I wanted to know anyone has done it.
Truthfully? I barely noticed it and probably wouldn’t have even noticed unless you pointed it out.
I guess it’s something that bothers me. But I agree with you about not noticing it since it’s not that large.
Beauty-wise, it does nothing to detract from your appearance. Health-wise, you already understand the importance of having it thoroughly examined by a physician and thereafter, observe for any changes in size, borders and color. If it protrudes from the skin too much and there is continual friction with your clothes, well then, that may be a good enough reason to remove it.
Starvation and hair
First off, I am NOT picking on you … please understand this.
However, all of us in the “Western world” need to sit back and take into consideration how most other humans live (and have lived throughout history).
I worked, for a while, with the cosmetic surgeon that catered to spoiled rich women (no other way to say it). Often their entire lives were filled with concerns about a tiny wrinkle, a blemish that was not visible … and, yes, a tiny hair here and there. Indeed, we do have many women like that in California, and I mostly feel like slapping them.
On the other hand, the guy I work with now takes two trips per year (at his cost) to repair kids and people in poverty-areas around the world, that were born with hideous malformations or were ravaged by war. Amazingly, nobody even knows this guy does this … he wants no publicity. He does it because of “who he is.” I love the guy.
Today, a full billion souls are now going hungry in a world with plenty of food. And Americans? Well, our “problem” is that we are too FAT … sucking up all the food and resources like some giant vacuum cleaner.
Those tiny things that are bothering you? Sure, go ahead and have them taken care of. (And, I am NOT singling out the “mole girl,” you seem pretty level-headed.)
But to those people that have emailed me that are considering “killing themselves” because of some excess hair? For God’s sake (and this is coming from an atheist) … get REAL! Of course, get your body the way you want it; that’s what we do. Don’t feel guilty … that serves nobody’s interest. But also consider the broader picture and at least consider the plight of the less fortunate and those suffering.
Put your “problems” in perspective. If you have a full belly and a place to live, you are better off than most people on the planet.
And, stop tweezing and get electrolysis!
Thank you for that eye opening post Michael. Maybe I should dwell less on the little things in life.
Dear “team” … we ALL do it … self included. You know, worry about a little dent in the car, or maybe a “bad hair day” (that is if I had any).
We need to be reminded of the truly important things in life … like the ones that love us (in my case, my dog). And guess what? They don’t care what we look like! Woof!
Oh MIchael …thank you again, I LOVE what you have said here! And yes your truth is clear ! It is obvious that you are not picking on anyone person but reminding all of us to get a perspective on life and what is really important ! It is so true! In this exploration of LHR and the little electro I have had access to I only hope not to get totally ripped off , never mind some sort of quasi results!
I am on another forum and have been saying the same sort of thing for many years . This obsessive culture of privilege and want is blinding us from what is truly important. After all even if one goes for all these procedures , every waves hits the shore eventually and all of these efforts will not stop the motion of life and all the changes that time will bring. If those who think someone like joan rivers looks better than my white haired granny with her hard earned beautiful wrinkled face, they REALLY need to take that trip far away to reality ! Its only skin deep as they say…
