removing arse hair

Please excuse the British vulgarity, but I have hair on the buttocks - a little bit on cheeks and quite a bit of crack hair to remove. Nice! It really bothers me, and it is my number one area I want hair removal from, other than my chin (I am female.)Some of it is fairly course, but I don’t know whether it is suitable for laser.

What sort of time scale would I be looking at? For first clearance and then overall? With a good electrologist with modern equipment? I know this is very very ball park. I’m trying to work out if it will be affordable to do soon - I really hope so.

Electrolysis would be quite painful and sore especially if there is a lot of hair.Best to go for a good laser at a clinic and not one of those IPL machines. If the hair is dark and you have light skin you should get good results. Laser is much more gentle and less painful than electrolysis but it will sting a bit. It would take around 1 year and you will really notice a difference after several treatments. The clinic should say you will get 60-80% reduction, I myself who have had LHR have had 90% reduction but results can vary and there are some people who are non responders. You would book a course of 6 treatments but bear in mind that LHR is quite expensive. After that you would go in for touchups or go somewhere else for electrolysis to clear up any stragglers. Also do your research in hair removal and choose a clinic carefully if you decide to go ahead.

Hi Oneday, I had laser on my bikini and crack area and unfortunately it made the hair growth worse and now I am having electrolysis on this area.
It took about 10hours with modern machine to clear up. Now I go in for regular treatments (every 2 months) for new growth, which is 3/4 less than what I started with. Every case is different, but I say if you haven’t had laser you are in a better position, because it could take years before hair can return after laser.
And about the pain, just use numbing cream, it helps a great deal.
