Reinsertion for aftercount?

I’m doing galvanic-only electrolysis with a home built machine on my hands and forearms. Because I can only work with one hand, I insert the needle, then remove it, and pick up the tweezers to take the hair out. Because I can’t take out the hair without first removing the needle, I’m not able to do any aftercount or leave the needle in longer after I remove the hair.

Would it work to reinsert the needle for an aftercount or is this not recommended due to the follicle already being partly destroyed meaning the needle would most likely not go into the right place in the follicle.

Should I expect to see a significant reduction in effectiveness with no aftercount?

Insert. Apply. Extract. Repeat.

That’s how I’ve always done it.

Don’t worry about after-counts. If you see froth from lye and hairs sliding out easily you’re good. You can also treat hairs in clusters and then remove them that way you let the lye keep working but longer.
