Regrowth question

I’ve had four hours of treatment on my chin and upper lip sofar. After enjoying a few weeks of little growth my electroligist warned me I should prepare to see a lot of regrowth similar to when I first started. I had almost a week of sweet hairlessness and then the crazy regrowth she told me about came in fast. I honestly could shave it twice per day, there almost seems to be more than when we started.

She told me and I have read this is the normal series of events. So how can I expect the next few months of treatment to play out? Will it be just like starting over again? She is out of the country for a few weeks else I would ask her (and have this darn hair zapped!)

Expect to see continual cycles of growth, in ever diminishing amounts. You wont notice much difference at all in the amount of hair coming in for at least 6-8 months, then it will start to dwindle off like someone is turning off the “hair tap”

Thanks Seana! Can not wait to reach that phase! It doesn’t feel as far away as it did in the beginning.

Another question…as a person who tweezed for so long—is it possible for my growth pattern to eventually sync up?

The first 4- 6 months is the hardest and you may not see much difference, but keep pushing onward. Keep a schedule where you can get cleared each time and from month 6-9, you should definitely see that things are going in the right direction. By month 12, you should be 90% of the way home and feeling pretty pumped, IF you get cleared every single time before the year is up, having maintained a good schedule to catch the new hair.
