Redness - Upper vs Lower Cheek

Hey,

I had an electrolysis session 3 days to target hairs on my upper cheek (under the eye). The redness was a bit more than I expected - by tomorrow (the 4th day) I think it will all be gone. Just curious, would increased redness be normal in this area possibly because the skin is more sensitive? The reason I ask is because I’m trying to judge if the redness I will experience on the lower cheeks will be better.

It’s a highly vascular area, meaning there are lots of blood vessels throughout the skin. That’s why it’s so prone to spectacular bruising after accidental impacts. I’d guess the center and lower portions of your cheeks won’t turn or stay nearly so red.
