Recommended Irish electrologists!!

Hi,
It’s very hard to find recommendations and reviews online for Irish electrologists. Would anybody have any recommendations for any good electrologists anywhere in Ireland? I’m trying out a few places and as much as I believe in electrolysis, I’m finding it difficult to trust an electrologist without recommendations from previous clients.

Really appreciate any help!

I am sorry to say that you may have to be the one to give us some names to put in our referral directory. Without people like yourself willing to give back, pay it forward, and post their experiences, we have nothing to offer.

We posted strings for the people listed below and no one in Ireland who has visited them has come back on here to write a review.

Right now, we are lucky to even have some names to give of possible places to start one’s search.

Can you send a PM to Tealight? she was treated in Ireland for a good electrologist. Unfortunately I forgot to ask her name. This person did an excellent job.

You can also contact Philomena.

Thanks very much Josefa. I have contacted them. Hopefully I’ll get some recommendations.

Hi,
Thanks for your info. I will definitely keep people informed of my progress with any electrologists I start and continue with. The person I am trying at the moment is Eavanna Breen from Akina in Dublin, Ireland.

that helps already, as we don’t even have her listed on the site.
If you could provide her business contact info, and maybe what machine and vision equipment she uses, that would be helpful

I’m thinking it would be a real good time for Philomena to be speaking up here…

I’m not very educated when it comes to electrolysis equipment. Eavanna told me the machine she is using is a Sterex machine and she’s doing short-wave thermolysis. Hope this makes sense and it’s good news for me??

Contact details are: 1A Crow Street Dublin 2, Co. Dublin.

I also tried Catherine Hayes, Augustine Court, Galway. They provide all three methods of electrolysis but I don’t know the names of the machines. I can find out and post again.

Hi,
There is a clinic on Wicklow St. in Dublin called Ann McDevit Diathermy and Skincare Clinic. I believe they are well known for doing electolysis. I am not in a position to recommend them as I know nothing about their work. I don’t know what machine they use either. If you are specifically looking for the Apilus Platinum machine you may not find one in Dublin. I know apart from myself I think there is only one more Platinum in Ireland. Also I think you mentioned in a previous post about redness and pustules after one of your treatments. I recently tried out a batch of Laurier probes and I have to say they are second to none and very gentle on the skin. I cannot wait to finish my current batch of needles so I can start ordering laurier probes. Ask your electrologist if she will obtain some of these for you. The company that manufactures them post here regularly and it took less than a week to get them from USA. I definitely believe that they make a huge difference.

Where are you located, Therese? Maybe Pixy can see you.

Laurier probes used with an Apilus Platinum is lovely indeed. Many problems can be eliminated when a skilled electrologist uses top notch equipment. Clients who experience this, stay loyal to their electrologist because they are very grateful for less sensation and better skin outcome.

Hi Dee. Thanks for the reply.
I am located in a retail park in Galway with free parking and a bus route outside the door. I have been specialising in electrolysis for 22 years. I originally obtained my DRE qualification from The Institute Of Electrolysis in the UK more years ago than I care to remember. I purchased the Apilus Platinum epilator in 2006 and I specialise in both face and body hair removal. I also treat transgender clients. My contact details are as follows:

Okay, great. I looked up the driving distance from Dublin to Galway and if pixy is willing to travel 129 miles / 208 km to check out your product and service, that would be helpful and perhaps eye opening. I have several clients that drive here from distances further than 129 miles / 208 km and it is not too burdensome if they can get long sessions. Do you do marathon sessions, Therese?

By the way, many, many, many years ago, my Fahey side of the family immigrated from Galway, Ireland. They multiplied like rabbits over the generations and settled on the East coast, West Virginia and Chicago area. Hope to see Galway someday.
