hey guys i had a lot of hair under my hairline. at first it wasnt that thick and then i started to pluck and then shave it. now its really really really thick. u dont understand my hair is normally really thick now the hair below my hairline is like ridiculous thick. my question is that will laser hair removal be able to permanently reduce/remove this hair even tho its sooo thick? i have tan skin btw.
no help?
Laser produces better results on thicker dark hair and less results on finer hair. Thick dark hair has more pigment for laser to target. You need to find a place that has experience treating hair line /scalp hair. That hair is too deep and could be challenging to treat and hairline needs to be treated carefully not to give you an odd shape. Electrolysis gives the operator more precise control over treatments and that could be an advantage for critical area like hairline.
Hg, laser hair reduction is for coarse, dense, dark hair. Electrolysis is the way I go for this particular area because electrolysis can REMOVE any structure (size) hair, on any color or skin, for any color of hair. As fenix stated above, electrolysis allows for the preciseness that is needed in this area.
btw im a male 20 years old with really really thick hair.
ms. Fahey, since you have treated hair on the hairline before, I want to ask does it take longer to reach cleared permanent results? I thought hair cycles on the scalp are more tricky.
Hello Johnson!
No, it doesn’t take any longer. I clear and keep clearing the area every six weeks until all looks well in about a year and a half.
Alright thanks.
