Dear Members of Forums!
I have south-europinian type of body(many dark hair everywhere). I tried electrolytes hair removal in so called “brasilian” aria for pure hygienic reason. Size of skin less then one my palm threated twice–13 hours(cost A$1700). Result is miserable–after 2 weeks hair are growing again, although less, but it is necessary remove again. I had been consulted in the Technical College, and had been explained, that no absolutely method removing hair forever exist
and only solution = permanent treatment:hair reduction growing with chemical products well known in supermarkets , then hot shower, or bath , or sauna ,or steam room, and then waxing. And make it periodically as normal hygienic procedure. My experience of electolytes haire removal was painful (32 needles) with sessions of 3 hours each, non-stop. I wish all of you well consider my experience.
Your friendly-Victor- 69 years old pensioner.
Dear Victor.
There are several flaws in your report and I blame it on erroneous information that you were given and on information your electrologist may or may not have given you.
-
You cannot report a miserable result only after 13 hours, and
having been at this effort for only 2 weeks. Hair grows in
cycles and what was cleared in 13 hours, does not represent
all the hair you really have because HAIR GROWS IN CYCLES.
What you are observing is NEW HAIR THAT WASN’T PRESENT TWO
WEEKS AGO. Your electrologist should have hammered this
concept home before you even started. -
The person(s) at the technical college?? that explained to
you that there is absolutely no method that can remove hair
hair permanently is shockingly WRONG! Electrolysis is the
only method if it is performed correctly in regard to
certain scientific principles. Millons of people, the earth
over, are in the permanent hair removal club that this
so-called technical college says doesn’t exist. Can they
explain why electrolysis has been in use for over 130 years
if it didn’t permanently affect hair?? Ask them. -
Chemicals in super markets?? hot showers? waxing??
Are they absolutely crazy or just uninformed? This is
temporary and it is okay to do if that is your choice.
There are many hairtell posters that had the hair removed
from the pubic region with electrolysis and are hair-free
years later just so you know. I feel sorry for you
because you were misinformed. Happens all the time though. -
If you went for 13 hours and paid $1,700, then you were paying
about $131.00 per hour!!! You were ripped off. -
If you were treated with 32 probes, this is called
multi-needle galvanic electrolysis, which is, as noted, galvanic electrolysis,
which is chemical destruction of hair tissue, which is
ketchup, turtle, slug SLOW. It is highly effective, if
performed correctly, but very slow, which is too costly
for pensioners.
This is why I am so thankful for hairtell. We are able to respond quickly to the misinformed. If everyone who was a neophyte hair removal learner read your post, they would never know what the real truth and possibilties are concerning electrolysis.
If you were my client, you would have received a valuable consultation with all realites of how to get from Point “A” to Point “Z” successfully. You would have seen pictures. You would have seen written concepts about how this is done successfully on my wall. Your questions would have been answered no matter what you ask. You would have been treated with a modern, computerized epilator with the proper probe size. You would not have spent $1,700 for only 13 hours of work, but would have been completely finished for or around that price within 9-12?-14?-16?18? months depending on your behavior.
Thanks dear Victor for your comments. I’m sorry that there are not professional electrologists that could have explained this truthfully to you before you chose the wrong way to go about this. Happy shopping at your local super market.
Dee
Well said Dee!!! You go girl! If it weren’t for you pro’s I wouldn’t have switched to electrolysis. I am very excited to be in the hair free club in '09!!!
Interesting. I want to believe you, but I haven’t plucked any hair on my eyebrows for 6 months, haven’t done anything to my upper lip in over 1.5 yrs, haven’t shaved my underarms in over a year, and I don’t have any hair on these areas anymore after a combination of laser and electrolysis. If you’re serious about getting results, do some research on this site to help you figure out how, and you can enjoy being hairfree with the rest of us.
Anyone who has seen the bald spots on my legs from teaching students can see that even poorly performed electrolysis can lead to permanent hair removal
I’d stick my legs out in your stead if I didn’t live on the other side of the country!
