So I have quite a hairy face, much of it is blonde, but then my upper lip hair is darker and I have random dark hairs the come out of my face - along my sideburns, in the middle of my cheeks, and I have many many on my chin…I pluck so many that I have stubble all over my chin. I have no idea what I can do about this, and even if I can do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m not sure how electrolysis works on sporadic areas, if it’s even offered and if I’d have to let all my facial hair grow in before treatment? Please help I have no idea where to turn. I’m not even sure where to post this.
Hi Yazzz:
Electrolysis will work on either light or dark facial hair.
They don’t generally treat very light or vellus hair(peachfuzz)
but it works very well on normal facial hairs, even sporadic ones.
Right now all I have left are a few scattered hairs and it is getting rid of them.
Many women get treated for just the type of facial hair you are describing.

A professional electrologist can help you. Yours is a problem we encounter everyday. Electrolysis works on every hair color, every skin color. The electrologist will search for and destroy the most offending hairs first, such as the dark and coarse hairs (followed by) > the light and coarse hairs > the dark and light medium hairs > the dark and light fine, but long hairs. The very small blonde hairs will be ignored as they cause no real distress.
A confident, skilled electrologist can handle large and small areas. Get some consultations and check out what they have to offer. Read hairtell and hairfacts, so you have a basic understanding of what to look for. Okay? Come back and ask questions.
