Question regarding laser removal on legs

I’m two sessions in for laser removal on my legs/bikini, and so far it’s been going great. I’m pale with coarse dark hair and my technician is using a Sheer Light machine (not sure what setting). Today I noticed (last session June 27) numerous blond soft hairs growing all over my legs…lots of them… but they are baby fine soft and I only saw them against the sunlight.

My question is, is this a side effect of the laser treatment, the regrowth that some people question? Or is it more likely that I always had these blond hairs, but never took notice before because the coarse dark hairs were more the focus? I have no major concerns with these hairs, they are barely noticeable to anyone else, but was curious if other people experienced the same thing for laser removal on legs. Appreciate any comments/feedback – thanks!

I got the same results but after my 4th session. Before that, the regrow was pretty much the thick hair to be trated during the next session…

Currently I am 5 sessions with a very stady results, however I am waiting at least 5 months to see if these baby hairs will not become into thick hair again.

You likely had this hairs mixed in with the other dark coarse hair and they weren’t visible due to that. Most people start paying a lot more attention to the areas they’re treating compared to before treatments.

Thanks for the responses – it does make sense that I always had these blond hairs prior to my lasering. I will take this over that awful dark hair I was dealing with before

Not sure If I had these blond hairs before… I believe the peach fuzz thing is a direct consequence of the laser.

Probably these baby-hairs effect is a sort of weakened hairs due to laser which will not be affected in subsequent sessions anymore. I lean to beleave that this effect is coming by using mild settings…

Just my theory.

Prior to laser, if you had let your hairs grow and looked at them under magnification, you would have seen the blond hairs mixed in with the others. Generally the blond are shorter, finer, and grow slower and “hide” under/behind the noticeable hairs.
