Question about marathon electrolysis

 Hello,

I was wondering how much hair can be removed in a sitting of 8 hours? For example can a man’s back be cleared in 8 hours? Can a beard be cleared in 8 hours? Can an abdomen and chest be cleared in 8 hours?

I’ve been getting electrolysis on my abdomen but I go in for one hour every week. Im thinking of doing an 8 hour sitting though to knock it all out.

I forgot to add that the kind of modality used is Thermolysis
I started on the abdomen in November.

In thermolysis it is POSSIBLE, although no one can GUARANTEE you that it would be done.

There are too many variables for how fast an area can be cleared. There are the differences between skills of the practitioners, the natural limits of the modality being used, the pace of treatment the client can stand, and the ease of the insertion angles presented by the hairs, just to name a few.

The reason why we tell everyone to get as many treatment consultations as possible, is because no one can know how fast hair can be removed on you, until they actually remove hair on you, and in the area you wish to be treated.

In general, I have cleared men’s full beards in 8 hours or less, and then there are others who needed many times that for first clearance. Men’s chests and backs are usually a much larger ordeal, but can be a cake walk. There would be a difference between doing a first clearance on Tom Selleck or Paul Stanley as opposed to someone who only has a center chest diamond and small happy trail.

So, is it possible to clear what you want in 8 hours or less? Yes, it is possible, but can it be guaranteed? No.

Sweet  thank you
I’ll take the challenge and see what happens. I’ll post the outcome.

James, you forgot to include Robin Williams. He’s one hairy dude.

I agree with all of James’s comments.

Just when I was getting all confident estimating what I could do for a man’s back hair, I get a guy that had a major testosterone event happening to his back. He did not fall within any estimate that I had ever given. Just get the hair off fast, with the most skilled and speediest electrologist you can find. It all slows down later on after you attack all the hair up front. I like marathons sessions after the client waxes just one time. Remember, there is no need to get happy before the 6-9 month mark. It will look like nothing good is happening, but something good IS indeed happening. Fasten your seat belt and get the hair off fast, then keep the area maintained. You will see less and less hair toward the end.

Thanks for the reply. This forum is amazing. I’m not as hairy as they are but I do have dark vellus hair all over my abdomen and chest area :frowning: it’s not coarse although the happy trail was I haven’t seen hair come out from that area just like 2 or 3 hairs happen to pop up here and there and then my electrologist gets them
