Question about lingering red marks

Hi forum, thank you for all the great info on this site. I need some advice - I recently had LHR on my stomach/chest. It had been about a year since my last treatment - I have had many treatments over many years, typically with great results, and skin back to normal within a month.

This time, 7 weeks after the treatment, I am still left with small red marks everywhere I was treated. Red, circular marks generally 1/2" and less. They appear like old bruises. They are not extreme but definitely noticeable and are not resolving very quickly, and I am surprised they are still around after this long. I am applying aloe a couple times a day.

Can I expect these marks to fully disappear? I am slated to return to the doctor’s office where I had the LHR done (have used them many times) to have someone take a look. I am patient but if there’s anything I can do to help my body return to balance, I’d greatly appreciate the tips.

I don’t know the technical specs of my settings this time out, but I know they were not upped from the previous visit a year prior.

It would be helpful to know the machine and settings being used and your skin type. And photos would be helpful too.

It sounds like slight bruising and pigmentation which can happen if setting were changed or you had a bit of a tan or if you used anything photosensitive.

Here is a pic at almost 2 months after treatment - red, circular splotches wherever I was treated. There was no sun exposure before or after treatment. I will inquire about the settings.

Any thoughts? I have never had marks last this long. Thanks

It looks like slight pigmentation or bruising. It goes away after a while. But you should show the clinic and find out the settings so they can adjust next time.
