i’ve been reading about hair anatomy in an encyclopedia and information there is a bit confusing. hair roots lie on the upper layer of the skin called epidermis or go deeper in the lower layer - called dermis - where collagen and fat is? i ask this because if hair roots go that deep where collagen and fat is found, then hair removal methods and especially laser/IPL could harm collagen and fat and cause skin sagging and wrinkles?
It depends on where on the body the hair is how deep the hair growth system goes.
You are correct, on the face, it runs deep.
we read about side-effects such as burns, scars etc. but is there any data and proven medical fact about skin aging?
