I have no idea if this is the correct way to post a question on here…but I’m giving it a shot. I am getting electrolysis on my face. I have no problems tolerating the electrical zapping…but what gets me is how badly it hurts when she pulls the hair out after zapping it. My daughter has told me this is not normal. Can someone please give me some advice about this problem? Thanks.
Welcome to Hairtell. Your daughter is correct. Lifting the hair out after the zap, should not hurt, there should be no resistance felt. You are being tweezed/plucked and the hair will grow back. You can probably tolerate the electrical zap because the energy level is too low to get the hair to slide out with no traction. I hope you haven’t paid too much so far for being tweezed. How many sessions have you had so far?
Hi, Deedra…Thank you. I’ve spent about $500 so far…maybe a little more. I have been telling the electrolysis that it hurts…plus…each time she pulls I react to the pain because it hurts…and she doesn’t seem to think anything of it. I guess I will find a new one. Thanks.
Probably a good idea to compare. I would politely let the first electrologist know that you are leaving because you felt like you were being tweezed. Businesses need to hear this kind of feedback so they can make corrections for the benefit of their clients and for the benefit of retaining their future customers. Good luck!
