I have had like 3-4 90 minute sessions in my genitalia area (in different sections for upcoming surgery) since January …The scrotum area has been cleared and it seem to have just needed one pass . So I guess the question is, if one pass good enough for that region since the hair has not grown back (since January )?My surgery date is for July 11th
No, one pass is not enough to clear entire area because hair cycles are random. Some body hair like legs and feet have long cycles 4+ months so not all hair is present during treatment. You still require 12-24 months of treatments to catch all growths cycles.
this applies to body hair(I am guessing facial hair is different since that hair grew back a week later with electrologist ) ? Some have stated that they just needed one session in the genitalia area …Hopefully this is not going to make hair grow inside (the doc is going to scrape but felt i should just do one full clearing all over sincee i have coarse hair I am african american )but if so i guess i will get the 5.0 model of the vaginoplasty called the colovaginaplsty

Did your electrologist discuss hair growth cycles and how long it will take to complete the job? I’m not familiar with surgeries like that so hopefully others here with knowledge will give you tips.
I do remember from past topics on “scrape” method that it does not stop hair growth but only contributes to scars and complications for hair removal later on.

I did my first full clearance over 8 hours in 2 sessions of the male genital region recently for a regular ( and much cherished) client. I really dont know when to tell him the hair will start coming in again.Though I suspect he might just elect to zap it again and when it does. But as fenix stated, body hair can have long growth cycles.
Josepha has told me that she makes people wait 4-5 months between clearances in order to have the maximum hairs present to be removed.So that’s probably a good timeline. You’ll see some hair come in on it’s regular cycle though you would have to wait 4-5 months to see all of it.
she did speak of cycles and shocked my hair in the scrotum area has not grown back besides like 2-3 strains that has popped up here and there…
and yea my doc does the scraping thing …I am not looking forward to the extra pain of that
