Probes bends during the treatments

Hey there, greetings from a galaxy far, far away!

So, I went on a quest to find someone with the same issue as me, but it looks like I’m the first adventurer to face this challenge, and it’s a bit spooky. My trusty old machine retired, so I dusted off my Apilus Junior, which I bought second-hand three years ago but never used. I was told to use Pro-Tec probes instead of my usual ones. I’ve treated a few patients, and things were going smoothly.

Switching to a new machine after years with the old one was like learning to ride a bike again, but I managed. As always, I checked the skin’s moisture level before starting. One patient had a 14% moisture level. I started with IBL F1 for those fuzzy face hairs, and bam, my probe bent. I swapped it for the same size, made sure my technique was on point, and bam, it bent again. I thought, “Okay, this skin isn’t playing nice,” so I tried IBL F2, and bam, bent again. Then IBL F 3, moved to the chin, and bam, bent again. I didn’t dare go to IBL F4 because her skin was as dry as a desert, and IBL F4 might have caused an explosion. So, I dug out my other brand probes, found a Balette 3, and tried that one. Guess what? Bam, bent again.

What’s going on? Is it me, the probe brand, or the Apilus Junior? After all these years of experience, I’m stumped and need help. I’m about to start banging my head against the wall.

Help, please!

Can you send a video to me of what you’re doing at jenniferd@jadeckinics.com or post it here.

When you said F1 and F2 I just thought you may have been having a bad day but bending an F3 is odd. Sorry im no help, but I would luv to know what you use to see the F1/F2 fuzz hairs, im using a 8x magnification salon light and im barely seeing F2 blonds with lots of concentration.
