All Platinum machines are calibrated specifically for Pro-Tec probes so you can be 100% confident that your work with Pro-Tec is as precise as possible.
Thanks,
Jean Louis

Hi Jean Louis, can we know the diameter of the various sizes?

Thank you!

I am using the Pro-Tec probes here and there and hope to discover how they differ from the Laurier and Ballet brands. I am doing well with the Laurier and Ballet probes using the Platinum even if they are not calibrated for use with the Platinum.

Nice to hear from you Jean Louis! Hope you are doing well. Give a big hello to Johanne and Rita O. if you see her.

Dee

Hi Josefa,
I will try to get it this week.

Hi Dee,
Everything is good for me,

Johanne and Rita say Hi back!

Hello all,
I wanted to share this experience I just had.
I worked yesterday with a client who has very very sensitive skin. I’ve treated her only a few times as she had previously been to another electrologist before moving out to Los Angeles.
She was amazed as to the condition of her skin after treatment. I was using my Platinum and after an hours worth of Pico Flash she barely had any red bumps or swelling. When looking in the mirror she was so thankful for the treatment she began tearing. Has that ever happened to you?
I feel so lucky to be able to provide such service. Not only has it increased my clientele, but has given me confidence in my work and the magic of this treatment.

Yes, this has happened to me many times and it is the reason I keep loving my profession. The Apilus Platinum is top shelf, but somehow it garners animosity from those that have never touched one. The world is competitive. For those that invest, dream forward and build a better product, there is great reward and alas, there is also great scorn from those that want no competition or change. :frowning:

I have had this happen frequently. I once had a woman come from about 3 hours away to get male pattern facial hair removed. She had believed that it would not be possible to get clear in multiple sessions, let alone one day. In one marathon session, I cleared her entire face, and when I handed her the mirror, she said, “Is that all it takes?” and burst into tears, and I had to hold her for about 15 minutes. she said she had been agonizing over doing something about this for years, and she could have been done already, had she just come to see me years ago.

Those are the days when I don’t feel bad about not spending my life on the set of a blockbuster movie in the make-up chair, or running lines with Tom Cruise.

Wow thanks James and Dee for your posts.

Thank you for sharing these inspiring stories. This work can be so rewarding when executed at this level.

Until soon

Hi Johanne,

Thanks so much for that post on Multiplex for curly distorted follicles. I worked on a client yesterday, much like the one of whom you posted the photographs.

She had a lot of hair on the lower part of her face, curly, distorted and thick. I used the Multiplex modality with a 2BL probe, two pulse with no displacement.

IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!!

The energy level didn’t have to be very high and I was able to remove the hairs with a good root. It took us 90 minutes.

The client said that this had been her best treatment yet as she had previously been to two practitioners.

Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this with us!!

I can’t wait to continue to use this modality with future clients.

All the best

I agree. I’m very impressed.
