I had a marathon electrolysis session 3 weeks ago with lidocaine injections and have an area on my chin which still looks pretty badly damaged, though I’m not quite sure how much of this is due to the injections and how much is due to the electrolysis itself. Does it look like this will heal or is the damage likely to be permanent?
I dont see immediate cause for concern. At 3 wees post treatment your skin is not far enough along the healing process to definitively say any scarring will occur. In most cases, minor sin manifestations resolve completely. You’re seeing your sin at its worst. Marathon sessions are hard on the sin and this just appears to be a normal reaction. Honestly the best thing you can do is relax and not stress. Let the skins healing process takes place. If there is any resulting issues, we wont know this for at least 8-9 months.
