I live in LA and I’m desperately looking for a good place to start treatments in. I’ve read everything I could on laser hair removal, but my brain is an absolute blank when it comes to knowing where to start.
I’m looking for decent, word of mouth recommendations. Cheapest, great quality, and frankly, result producing clinic you’ve visited anywhere around LA (West LA would be even better!) I know I sound like I’m asking for gold, but I really don’t know what else to do. I’ve been finding names of a million places, calling getting rates and names of their machines, which means pretty much nothing to me. I need some people who have experience to refer me somewhere, its better than blowing cash with no results, I figure.

I read about Dr. Babapour on Yelp, I was hoping I could get a female specialist though. There is a place called Lasergenie close to me, they use the Soprano XL apparently, offering full leg at $200 right now. I don’t know if it’s a good laser, I’ve read alot of mixed reviews. I’m trying to shop around to see if anyone has any experience in the area that would save me some risk.

Do a search here on hairtell about the Soprano XL. There are a lot opinions here that may help you. Can anyone refer Abrisham to a woman laser specialist in LA?

What type of laser do you need for your skin color? What areas do you need help with besides your lower legs?

My skin is fairly light, a white middle Eastern. My hair is dark and coarse. I would like to do it on my legs and full bikini area. In that zone my skin gets a bit darker. I read that Alexandrite lasers would be preferable for my skin. I did a couple of sessions timed too far apart to see results a couple of years ago. I’d like to start laser and keep at it this time. But I want to find a reliable technician at a decent price (I’m a working full-time student). I really appreciate your posts and ideas.
