hi, thats it ive decided to get my back done. my question is is it really true that you cant pluck the area 9 months before treatment?? i dont think thats possible for me, the thought of someone seeing my back not plucked is horrible.
also im in the uk, you have a good list of recommendations on here for america but anyone know one for the uk???
where did you read this? you’re mixing something up. you can’t pluck THROUGHOUT your treatments, as in AFTER you start (and you also shouldn’t do it about 6 weeks beforehand). The reason is you’re supposed to be removing the hair with electrolysis that kills it when the hair is removed. If you’re plucking the hair, it defeats the point as you can’t obviously use electrolysis on a hair that’s not there.
thanks la girl, thought i read it on this site but guess not, i think im going mad with all the information ive been reading on these posts. im guessing i wouldnt need to pluck during treatments as hopefully full clearance can be achieved quickly as its not that coarse. decided to get electrolysis on back as hair is a mixture of dark and fine and read that fine hair can come back darker with laser.
also just read that maybe some places wont treat me as im male is that true or is that just for private areas???
haha. yes, it’s a lot of information. read through it carefully so you know what to look for.
back area is common. some places don’t treat the genital male areas. it depends on where you are located though. in los angeles for example, there are plenty of places that do it.
yes, electrolysis is probably a better choice for your hair type on this area.
