Pls help

I’m treating a transgender customer I started on the bikini area making my way to the genital and her hair follicles are extremely white ,dry and so deep ,I use the apilus Xcel pur.pico and synchro didn’t work
Any suggestions

A transgendered male or female client ?

She was assigned male at birth

ooh yea nah, we dont say that hun, if the person presents female then she is a transgendered lady,
If they present male then they are a trans man.
I only work on trans women and am a proud member of the lgbtqi community as a heterosexual lady myself. Is she a black woman or a white woman ? Blonde hair, ginger or black ?
Im not having a go at you , not at all, just trying to help.
I find the follicles on white / dark haired trans women to be quite deep in comparison, the terminal hairs almost max out my big machine in facial treatment.
Personally on the Bikini or vaganil area i use Ballet Gold 1 piece and minimal thermolysis relying on Galvanic mainly. Insulated probes work a treat down there too.
As for the follicles being white before treatment , a good exfoliate recommendation 2-3 days prior to electrolysis, moisturise with a good alovera gel at night.
If these dont rectify the skin issue then she needs to consult her Dr on her hormone regime, her estrogen or progesterone levels may be out of range Feel free to private message me A1 for more (private) reasons that i have discovered working down there on Tg women

Thx for correcting me I appreciated it
She is a white lady with dark hair.
I used the pro-tec size 4 probe.
As her hair follicles was really dry galvanic or blend was not an option.
I’m 100% sure that my insertions are perfect I can clearly see it on my microscope.
She couldn’t take the Synchro modality
Pico was fine with her but I didn’t get a good result
I guess my best option is multiplex

I’ll say something controversial but I have not seen much efficient progress with any of Aplilus HF modes on thick genital hairs. Even Synchro on blast struggles in many situations. Try to incorporate Blend modes and allow that lye to flood and dissolve the entire structure. I’m not sure how are the latest Dectro machines with DC output? And don’t rely too much on the presets.

Thanks your advice much appreciated

I would try two different approaches. The first is a slower blend for around 6 seconds in the follicle, which would be a mid-high DC and a low HF setting. The second is a slower thermolysis for around 2 seconds in the follicle, which would be a low-mid HF setting, using a varied depth approach to treat the length of the follicle. My personal preference would be the second option because of the time efficiency, but I would consider switching to the first option once a bulk of the hair had been removed.

I can maybe offer some input here as I do quite a bit of Gender Reassignment Surgery preparatory services. A little less this year, as I just finished up 5 or so cases this summer all of whom have now had their surgery.

To Start with I do the majority of my GRSwork in picoflash. Alot of it starts with knowing the area you need to clear. ( Hint, it isnt the entire groin) . The way to find this out is to ask the patient where they plan on going for surgery. Most surgeons will have a diagram of the areas they need cleared for the surgery. For those undergoing penile inversion, this usually is an an area surrounding the testicular sack by about 1/2 inch and everything in between. For those undergoing pertineal pull through method it can vary. Where the shave of the penis is super important in penile inversion , often this tissue is only used for labie on PPT method.
The rest of the hair, primarily the area over the pelvic bone, and aroud the sides, is not necessary to clear for surgery. This is good, because these hairs are deep, have very long anagen root structures ( 6 or 7 mm of gelatinous rroot at the base of the follicle which if you are using a insulated probe mens your insertions must be spot on depth and at several spots along the root pulses of energy to fully destroy it. Further complicating matters, if the hairs are white ended and differing depth, these are telogen hairs that will continue to cause you trouble until at leasst second clearance.

The skin on the scrotum, shaft and top base of the shafft are not as sdeep, and the scrotum are much less deep than their pelvic bone breahterin. But they all have the same very long anagen woots, and it will take significant energy in the right place, to destroy them. Onc you have done this job a few times, it becomes much easier.
