Please help

Hello,

Please give me advice on weather to keep on with laser treatment or not as I have experienced paradoxical hair growth on my upper arms. I have posted in another topic originally and you can find the post from here:

Thousand thanks in advance!

I’m afraid advice is going to be hard to come by as to permanent hair removal in estonia. The only reference to your country I’ve seen is the one you already asked for help on.
In general however , if you experience paradoxal hair growth your will do so wherever you have laser done. The solution, is to remove the hair with electrolysis. But finding an electrologist somewhere in your country is very unlikely. About the only thing I could possibly suggest, is a DIY scenario. In general however, its not a good idea to have further laser treatments if you have already experienced paradoxal growth. It cant get better, and it has the potential to be MUCH WORSE if you continue.

I struggle to see any issues with any of the images you have provided in the other thread. I am sceptical of the claim that you have experienced paradoxical growth, firstly because we have no before and after comparison, but also because the images you provided indicate an amount of hair that most clients of LHR would consider well beyond a “finished” result for their own purposes. Typically, people would either shave/bleach once every week or two, or would accept that their hair is now so fine, light and sparse that no one can really see it.

In any case, your hair is too light and sparse to justify further LHR treatments. I doubt you’ll see paradoxical growth if you haven’t already; the issue is more so that you’ll be wasting money you could put towards electrolysis. You should consider looking further afield for a competent electrologist, probably in a neighbouring country, and keep a watchful eye on ticket prices.
