I am 20 years. It is not a hormonal issue - my parentы just are like me, so it is genetic problem

Now I am waxing but it is very painfully for me
So I want to remove hairs permanently!!!

I want to buy laser or a photo epilator to remove the hairs permanently

Can you advice me the best epil which cost from 0 to 1000$?
I found an
TRIA Laser Hair Removal System
but I am not sure is this a good product

So please help me!
p.s.
Some information about me:
20 years old
VERY BLACK hairs
WHITE skin

You are way better spending money on a professional treatment with professional tools. In Your price range You will only find a few simple (but fully usable) electrolysis machines but You do not find anything usable for photoepilation.
Moreover, even with laser or IPL You need a qualified operator, Everything else will be waste of money.

Home machines don’t provide permanent removal. They’re now powerful enough.

Also, any laser or IPL device ONLY works on coarse dense dark hair. You need electrolysis for any finer hair. “Dark” is not enough. It needs to be coarse too.

Please read our FAQs at the link below.

Also, understand that you’re young and will develop more hair into your late 20s, so you’ll need touchups later in life.

Thanks for the reply

The problem is that I really have very coarse dense dark hair on my body!
I think that I am a really exception from all others. I am sure that you haven’t seen so hairfull man ))
So U advice me am electrolysis system. But it took a really much time I think.
I think that if I have coarse dense dark hair the best solution is an laser or photo epilators.

You said that
"Home machines don’t provide permanent removal. They’re now powerful enough. " I don’t understand these to sentences. What you want to say, that they ate powerful but don’t pro IDE permanent removal ? Or what?
Thanks:)

Sorry. ihatebodyhair is correct! I meant to say “NOT powerful enough”.

Please post photos and we can tell you which areas are coarse enough for laser (professional laser) to remove it permanently.

IPLs are not as good as true lasers. Please read the FAQs below.

Ok I will post photos of my hair tomorrow.
By the way sorry for my bad English cause I am Russian
Thanks

Vasia, let me assume, that also Your back is hairy. It is almost impossible to epilate that area by oneself, regardless of the method.

In any case You need someone performing the hair removal on You. I did DYI electrolysis and i am fully aware which areas of the body are possible and what is better left to the hands of a specialist.

Affordable machines in Your price range are for example the Sterex SX-T which is an entry level thermolysis machine for professional use. Electrolysis with this machine is permanent, yet pretty slow, the device is suitable for beginners. Anyway You have to invest into LEARNING electrolysis.

Beate has a point.

A proper laser can be a great tool in the right hands but the problem is that most of us won’t know if this was the case until we invest at least a couple thousand dollars.

Personally, my budget is so tight that I’ve no room for mistakes - it has to work. That’s why I must continue the effort with electrolysis.

So as I promise I a posting the photo of my shoulder. You can trust me - the same type of hair I have on body
So I hope that you will give me a good advice =)

The photo is not clear, but I think the hair density is similar to the boy’s “Diary of a European guy”. The length that can reach the hair (genetically predetermined) does not affect the cost of treatment if it is for Electrolysis. The density is the factor to consider.

As the laser, experts will give you an answer.

So you advice me an Electrolysis epilation?
I just thought that if I have a white skin and black hair the best solution could be laser…
So which electrolysis epil will you advice?
thanks

Impossible to treat without the help of another person.

If You cannot afford the service of a well trained professional, You need to find a partner willing to do or to learn the job.

Given Your financial limits, every simple manual thermolysis machine will be sufficient. Examples are:

Sterex SX-T:

and the device mentionen in the thread of the guy who wantso to opne a salon in sudan.

I will have a help of another person. This is not a problem

May be you can give me a link where I can check the good electrolisys epils?

It’s hard to judge the density from the picture. Because of the length the hair may look a lot more than it really is. (By the way, blond-haired people often have higher density - it’s just harder to see it.)

As for the coarseness, there is an easy way to find out for yourself. Shave a small patch and if it doesn’t look like this freshly shaved lower leg you may want to save your money for electrolysis.

Personally, after much thought, I decided to have the electrolysis on the coarse areas too, as I feel it will be cheaper for me on the long run.

PS. If you live in Russia this link may help.

EXacTLY!!! I have the same skin after I shave the part of body!!!

But I don’t undersatnd due my bad English. What you want to say? If I have same result after shaving - the only way is electrolisys? And how effective it will be? How do you think when I can remove hairs premanently?

Electrolysis works, but it’s not the most efficient method for you. You can get rid of all the dark coarse hair with laser first, and finish with electrolysis on any area where you need complete 100% removal. Laser will kill all coarse hair, but some fine hair will still remain afterwards.

With your skin type, I would look into finding a clinic that uses an Alexandrite type of laser like GentleLASE or Apogee.

Where are you located?

Moscow. And the problem is that it veeeeeeery expensive here.
How do you think, how much seances will be enough consideration my type of hair?

Vasia:

I meant if your skin looks like the leg picture after shaving then you are a good candidate for laser. (And it sounds like you are!)

However there are no guarantees, even if it’s a very good laser done by someone who knows what they are doing. Every person is different. The upper male body especially can be a difficult place to treat.

But the chances are it may kill enough so that you won’t have too much work with electrolysis.

Please take a look at our FAQs at the link below. If you can find a place with a good alexandrite type of laser (like GentleLASE or Apogee) and they are willing to use aggressive settings, you would need 6-8 treatments spaced 8-12 weeks apart on each area that has coarse dense growth (like the type in your photo).
