Pigmentation...?

So I’m currently seeing my third electrologist, and I know I picked my winner this time. The two I was seeing before were great, but the first one was just too far and the second used the blend method, which I’m just not a fan of. So I’m seeing my current electrologist, via recommendations of this board. I had my first appointment with her today, and she’s definitely my favorite so far. She was quick, thorough, and cleared so much hair in less than an hour. And it wasn’t that painful at all, totally bearable compared to the blend.

However, I’ve noticed that I have some red spots 6 hours post-treatment (kind of like red freckles). They’re not everywhere, just a few places. If it’s permanent, what can I do to make them go away? And if it’s not permanent, how long will it take to fade? Also, what can I do to prevent this next time?

Sorry for all the questions haha. Thanks for reading!

Pigmentation typically fades slowly over a period of weeks. Some posters here have recommended rose hip oil to speed this process.

In my personal case, the moisturizer I was using was causing more inflammation issues post-treatment than the electrolysis itself. Once I stopped using the moisturizer during the first three days following treatment, the majority of the inflammation disappeared.

Thank you for the advice!

This is far too soon to indicate pigmentation. It is most likely some slight post treatment inflammation. Has it dissapeared by now?

Some of them have faded a bit, others not so much. But my electrologist called yesterday to check up on me, so I told her about the spots and she said they were normal and would likely form scabs. I actually see a few scabs forming now so she was right. Thank you for the advice!
