I called Phillips and they have no plans to offer the Bodygroomer in the US, at least for this year.
My recommendation, if you are considering an electric, would be to try the Braun Activator. I believe it will easily outperform the Bodygroomer. The only advantage I see for the Bodygroomer is the long hair trimmer would work better on sensitive areas.

Walgreens appears to have a shaver similar to the Bodygroomer. This one looks better, as it has dual foils instead of just one, and it has an adjustable handle to shave the back.
It looks interesting and the price is reasonable at $19.99.
