PFB vs. Tend Skin

Not sure if anyone has posted about this … so apologies if this is repetitive:

Trying a relatively new product called PFB. It’s a little different from Tend Skin in that it comes in a roll-applicator (vs. a squirt bottle like Tend Skin).

Product info here: http://www.pfbvanish.com

The roll-on is applicator is convenient, and it smells better than Tend Skin (I guess it’s the Camphor Oil).

I’m not 100% about this, but I’m told that PFB is a little milder than Tend Skin, but again this needs to be verified.

Anyways, here are the ingredients for PFB, it seems Glycolic Acid is the extra differentiating ingredient here:

Isopropyl Alcohol
DI Water
Propylene Glycol
Acetic Acid
Cyclomethicone
Glycerine
Hycroxypropylcellulose
Camphor Oil
Salicyclic Acid
Glycolic Acid
Lactic Acid

Just for comparison, here is what I see on the Tend Skin label: http://www.tendskin.com

Isopropyl Alcohol
Water
Propylene Glycol
Acetylsalicyclic Acid
Cyclomethicone
Glycerine

Bump.

Has anyone tried this PFB product? Don’t care for what kind of bottle its in (roll on, squirt, etc) just care about the ingredience. The Salicyclic Acid in this product catches my eye and makes me ponder if it may be more effective than Tendskin.

Tendskin has a form of salicylic acid, too. Acetylsalicylic acid is aspirin (ASA). Homemade tendskin is made from aspirin and alcohol.

Dee

Ah thats right. I knew acetylsalicylic acid was aspirin but the word “acetylsaliclic” has always been too long for me to actually read (i just recognize) so I never caught the “salicylic” part of it hahaha.

Tend Skin has secret ingredients that their not showing on their site. I’ve got a bottle over http://www.tendskin.ca last week and it works really well on my legs and on my husband razor bumps.

Hey you can now get a roll type applicator for Tend Skin as well, I just bought it at a local shop in Canada.
