I live in Panama and my patients cannot usually afford a laser treatment. Which other method, preferably no needle, would you recommend based on a good cost-benefit relationship? The no needle electrolysis sounds very tempting, is it really effective, at least for 50% of the cases?
Thank you for your answers,
Guido Spadafora, M.D.
If you wish to offer permanent hair removal, the so-called no-needle methods have not been demonstrated to achieve permanent hair removal in published clinical studies.
The only methods that have been able to prove they can cause a permanent result is professional needle electrolysis, home-use needle electrolysis, laser hair removal (dark hair only), and IPL/flash lamp (dark hair only).
