I am a new member and actually found the site as I was “googling” to find information on the dead black hairs stuck in my skin after laser treatment (i.e. “Pepperspots”).
From what I have read, one needs to be patient <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> and also exfoliate in order to remove them.
But, of course, I am a bit frustrated as it has been over 4 weeks since treatment and they just seem SO stubborn. Also, many of them seem to actually be embedded under the skin!!! I can remove them if I gently scrape away at a layer or two of skin with tweezers. They are definitely dead and just fall out with this scraping process. But this is obviously ridiculously time consuming. I have been trying to exfoliate with a loofah sponge. But it just doesn’t seem to be effective as the hairs are too far below the surface. And even some dead hairs that are actually above the surface just seem to want to stay their also. So it’s like a form of “permanent stubble”.
So…I am looking for suggestions. Any “tried & true” methods out there?? Particular products?? etc, etc. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
