Part II: Laurier

What??
Her eyebrows and the condition of her skin are absolutely PERFECT. I have been so lucky to see it myself in my 3 journeys to Malaga, and I have made many comments about it. It is perfection, just like all of the work of Josefa.

Here is the problem.
Josefa has too many clients that don’t understand just how lucky they are. Instead of being happy they start to criticize and find new non-excisting problems.
This is a mystery to me. Maybe because they haven’t tried (failures of) other treatments, and therefore don’t appreciate?

How I wish you didn’t have to use your precious time on these cases, my dear Jossie

Thanks for speaking up “boy.” You know, photographs can often make something normal look dreadful. Jossie’s work is unmatched … but there are a LOT of folks that are pathetically picky picky picky. They see a tiny scab, red dot or other normal manifestation and go crazy. It’s a form of “perfectionism.” I should know, I have “perfectionism” too!

Years ago there was a GREAT electrologist in Los Angeles: Danny Eastman. He “did all the movie stars” and was a real “hoot!” In his consultation, he told prospective patients that “right after the treatment you are going to look like a horror story!” They “got the idea — fast,” and ended up with PERFECT, hairless skin. Get a close-up of Elizabeth Taylor some time and TRY to find any marks on her face! (Yes, Danny “did her.”)

Thanks to better tools today, no one has to look like a horror story or should look like a horror story.

Josefa does amazing work, she shares an incredible amount of knowledge and photographic documentation. I hope she continues to do so. She has done a lot more for the electrolysis industry than most.

Well, Dee, I pretty sure Danny was using a metaphor.

That’s very reassuring to know.

You must be new here. As you may well be aware now, josefas work is of the highest standard… She is the one who sets the bar so high…along with Michael…that you must strive or only dream to work to. She really does know what she is doing and the fact that others are replying on behalf of josefa should say everything. Maybe put some of yourcclient pictures up for some constructive criticism.

Thanks for your support, friends and colleagues.

First of all, apologize to all BIAE colleagues who are doing a good job. The inquiring words of one of its members do not justify my attack on the entire group. I humbly apologize to all whom I have offended. The level of my work, Geeeza and Boy, is exactly the same as most of my colleagues are doing . We all try to do things as best we can, the only difference is that some spend more time in practice and disseminate the results of Electrolysis.
So I do not understand that the attack comes from one of my colleagues. I also make mistakes and admiting them helps me to grow personally and professionally. This time, there is nothing to admit because there was no error. In these new photos, you can see that what Ms. Moylan interpreted as “pitted marking”, are actually dilated pores typical of a seborrheic skin. Something which a professional of the electrology should have recognized.

I have some good news

I just got off the phone with our new distributor in Ireland. She is now up and running and has joined hairtell already. She should be here in the next day or so to introduce herself and let everybody know her contact details.

I couldn’t find ANYTHING wrong with her skin in ANY of the photos. Her pores are normal.

So its true, when you stand above the crowd, it is easier for others to throw tomatoes at you.

Congratulations Mike R., Glad that Irish Electrolysists will be better able to obtain good tools to work with.

I restrained myself from commenting yesterday.

I think all the posts and clearer photos are evidence enough that she does beautiful work. Dare I say, the undereye area actually looks smoother than the rest of the skin.

We shouldn’t be afraid to speak up if we feel something is wrong but one wonders what the motivation was for such an accusation.

In another post I mentioned the unhappy teenage years I had, already having a lot of facial and body hair before 13. If I have a daughter and she feels the same, I would not hesitate to hand her over to Josefa for work at that young age. I cannot describe how caring she is.

But I suppose one needs to know and understand her work to really know how skilled she is. At this point in her career, I think Josefa would have to actively try to cause such overtreatment.

Distributor of Laurier insulated probes is officially open to all UK & Irish businesses.

I personally have worked with these probes for well over 25 years. The results are amazing.

100% of the current is directed to the germative portion of the hair follicle, which desicates and dehydrates thus permanently treating the hair follicle.

This probe and a good insertion is a electrologists dream come true.

The probes are available in an array of sizes suitable for all different areas to be treated.

Hi Philomena (love the name!), welcome to Hairtell. Can people from the Continent order too?

Hi Philomena,

i am one of the frequent users of the Laurier probes. I am located in Germany.
Would You please be so kind to inform me on prices, ordering conditions and shipment costs to Germany?

Thanks

Beate

Me, too. What You do see, however, especially on the picture of the left eye, is that the skin of the lid and that of the eye brows/forehead are a bit different in structure. You actually can notice the fine connection of these two parts of the skin following the eyebrow. This is normal anatomy and it is quite visible due to the high quality of the photo (magnification!).
Therefore You can notice that small area freed of hairs immediately above the connection of these two sections of the skin, which is covered by hair when not epilated. Simply undisturbed pores which used to carry hair and now are empty. Wouldn’t it be a sign of overtreatment if these pores were filled?

IMO the work is perfect - both epilation as well as in style (here i refer to an older comment of me to the shape of the eyebrow).

James, look at what we do here with tomatoes: A big party!. Given that you’ve also received some tomatoes, welcome to the party, dear.

Yes, folks, here we know take advantage of the vegetables!

This misguided allegation shocked me,Josefas’ work is as always, impeccable.

Hi All, this is my first post on Hairtell, I have been reading posts on and off for a short while now. I would like to dedicate my first post to saying thank you so very much Josefa for the amazing contribution you make to Electrology. Your work is amazing and the hours you spend every week posting comments and photos do so much to reassure clients. As a busy mum with an electrolysis business I am in awe of your ability to also find the time to contribute to Hairtell, do you ever sleep??
And thank you so much to all the other Electrologists who post regularly, your advice and sharing of knowledge is very much appreciated.
