Hi, this is 9 days post my 4th electrolysis treatment and I have these indented red marks. Is this normal? Will it scar?
I see no evidence of overtreatment.
Is it normal that these dots had small scabs a few days prior and that some looked like whiteheads? I am wondering if they will stay indented ( or contracted) and red. They remind me of some of my old acne scars. I am scared I will have these marks forever.
You will heal with the “tincture of time”. Please talk to your practitioner about your concerns. She or he may want to choose a different recipe for you or a different probe type and size. A few white pustules is probably related to the intensity used for the energy level needed to get the hair to slide out with no traction. I’m sure your electrologist would be able to tweak some things, but they would know best what to do, since they can see you close up.
