I think that the one missing aspect might be seeing if the hair “slides out.” If you don’t remove the hair, how would you know if it’s “cooked” correctly.
Now, where did I leave my “clown feet?”
“Ultra-lysis” … I don’t think that measures up to having a “patent” on the method. “Trade name” sure, of course; you can get a trade name on anything … but not a patent. There would be nothing to stop anyone from using the Harvey method.
Likewise the much-touted “S.I.M.P.L.E.” trade name deal (?) … I think that’s Susanne Anderer’s baby(?) … is just the “up-down” thing that everybody does … nothing to “patent” here.
Then there is a “lovely” in Canada who claims she has her machines “completely re-engineered” for her totally “exclusive” method … for which, for a tiny $25,000 she will teach you. I talked to the manufacturer and the machine is not altered in any way. Just BS! To which I will add WTF!
And, of course the “Lucy Peters” secret method (not so secret any more) …
All of this is what I call the “Madamme Boom Boom Electrolysis Salon” myths, secrets, and mysteries show. Nonsense!
My answer: just show and tell everything … and that is what the AEA should be all about … and they ARE. Hurray!! (sort of.)
Nicely, that “goofy; my exclusive method” page HAS been turned … all thanks to the INTERNET … AND HAIRTELL SPECIFICALLY! I have hated this field for decades and now, finally, I love it … well, LOVE the open people like you Jossie …
As they say, a rising tide lifts all boats … it’s the future AND the well-being of our patients.
BRAVO!
