Electrolysis hair removal is painful…it’s also time-consuming as each hair follicle has to be targeted individually.
It involves inserting a sterilized needle into each hair follicle, at which point an electrical current is delivered to the base of the follicle, thus destroying the hair growth cells.
Electrolysis is not so painful. It stings and the degree of sting depends on the epilator, the electrologist and the individuals sensitivity.
Professional electrolysis is a very clean procedure and there is no risks involved when the electrologist uses pre-sterilized disposable needles and performs other sterilization steps.
Electrolysis results in permanent removal of the treated follicles. This means that after the series of treatments has been completed the hair is gone for good - no regrowth.
Sounds like a copy and paste from a website promoting laser and trying to dissuade people from electrolysis.
I think I’ve already mentioned - try to only read unbiased sources.
What’s “better” depends on the type of hair you’re treating. Laser only works on certain type of hair. Waxing is not permanent, so it’s a separate category altogether.
