One touch modification help

I’ve owned a One Touch for about 5 years but have been to chicken to give it a try. However, after reading about others’ success here and being dissatisfied with recent laser treatments (had to move after only 3 treatments and can’t afford to do more at the moment) I would like to give the One Touch a go. Mainly lower abdomen and bikini areas are my targets.

I would like to modify the device with the foot sponge technique, but am not quite sure how to accomplish this. GeoCities no longer exists, so I am unable to review the site many people have referred to here (http://www.geocities.com/hairfreethere/) to find detailed instructions. Does anyone have this info readily available that they could repost here or forward to me? Thank you!

Have you tried web archive?

Professional bikini treatments are not that expensive at all ($100-200 per treatment depending on how much you’re removing, and you need about 6-8 treatments spaced 2-3 months apart). If you didn’t have good results, the cause was the type of machine used and the settings (too low likely). Please read our FAQs (see linke below). Bikini gets the best results with laser since it has very coarse hair.

For abdomen, you probably need electrolysis regardless since most women’s hair there is not coarse enough for laser.

Hey hbgirl, hope you managed to find the info.

Here’s a thread too:

Very strange because I just purchased a one touch a few days ago too (waiting for it to arrive). I actually want a proper electrolysis machine but none have come up on ebay (used and therefore affordable) that I can buy yet, so I thought I might as well buy this to get some practice inserting etc.

I think an essential modification is the wet sponge so I will be doing that to start with.

I hope you check back on this thread. It would be nice to figure it out and talk about it with someone else
