Old dudes ...

Enough to make the toupee fly?

YES!

My school pushed anagen only, too, and they weren’t connected to Dectro in any way. I was with a group of electrologists last year and many of the old timers insisted that hair could only be affected in the anagen phase. They had been practicing long before Dectro was a even company, so I would not hold Dectro as the keeper of the anagen only myth.

I wouldn’t either.

My favorite (blend) school also says “anagen only.” Thing is, in practical application it makes no great difference. I does, however, create different strategies. Again, different strategies work too.

It is fun, however, to hear the theories used to explain the ideology. I like the “dehydrated telogen follicle” best.

Looking into the history of hair transplantation answers this question with absolute authority.

By the way, I’m not seeing “painless” on any of the Dectro websites.

I see phrases like “more comfortable treatments”, “speed and comfort”, “exceptional comfort” on this video:

Where was the word “painless” seen?

This may be down to House of Famuir, but their catalog describes the xcell as painless. https://m.imgur.com/9ZpUE0t

Edit: found another in the same catalog http://imgur.com/ecLzAb1

I knew I’d seen it advertised as painless, too.

So, it’s Imgur putting out this false information as painless, not Dectro International. I have not seen painless on Dectro’s literature, but I could be mistaken?

About Imgur:

"Imgur is the easiest way to discover and enjoy the magic of the Internet. It’s where you’ll find the funniest, most informative and inspiring images, memes, GIFs, and visual stories served up in an endless stream of bite-sized fun. Powered by a passionate community of people from all around the world, anyone can join to share cool stuff and vote the best to the top.

You’ll always find something on Imgur to make you smile and brighten your day."

That last sentence is very true. Electrolysis is not a painless procedure no matter what epilator is used, however, it can be made very tolerable, depending on the the skill of the electrologist and the sensitivity level of the client.

Imgur is just the image hosting site I used to upload the photo to because it was too large to attach… I took the screen shot of the catalog myself. You could argue House of Famuir is the one making false claims but I still think Dectro is ultimately responsible for how their products are advertised. You can view the catalog for yourself here: https://www.hofbeauty.co.uk/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=12

I find this site easy to upload photos.

Well, I think the folks at Dectro look at Hairtell. They can do what they want with that.
