Those are the common temporary ways to do that, but if one wanted a permanent solution, electrolysis would freeze the style you want in place for ever. That is why electrologists don’t want to do faddish eyebrow styles. If you do pencil thin brows, and bushy ones become the new fad, you will be looking to find eyebrow toupee’s.

I would go and get my eyebrows threaded every few weeks. Go to the same person who knows your style.
That’s what I do, there’s nothing better in my opinion.
The other method that is used for hair removal is sugaring, I’m not sure if it is used on the eyebrows though.

If you go to the wrong person for waxing/threading/sugaring eyebrows, you may well need that toupee!
btw, I found waxing eyebrows with my hair type gave unsatisfactory results: too much shadow.
