So from reading these forums I know that when recieving electrolysis it is best to go in, get cleared, and return right when the hairs start to grow back. What if a person were to wait longer than they should, allowing the hair to fully return…I guess what I’m trying to ask is after one session of electrolysis if the hair is allowed to grow back, will it return to normal full strength? Could you potentially have electrolysis sessions every once in a while and have it be effective in the long run?
You assume that the first batch of hairs that are seen and treated by electrolysis are all going to return. Not so. If they are in the growing stage and are treated with proper technique and with the proper level of intensity and timing, they are gone for good.
There can be three times the amount of hair underneath the skin that cannot be seen at one time because hair grows in cycles. All the hair you really have is not above the skin all at the same time. Eventually, all the hair you REALLY have will appear above the skin’s surface. It can takes a minimum of 9-12 months for every hair to rise to the top of the skin at least one time.
Don’t start electrolysis if you can’t make time for and pay for treatments. If you are not motivated enough to clear and maintain the area as advised, on a schedule, you’ll go nowhere.
