Does anyone here have any experience going to Assara Laser Center?

I went in for a consultation and they have a new manager, she is very nice, but after researching them on the web I see a lot of negative reviews or even signs that the business advertises themselves. For example this press release talks about other metropolitan locations and there site advertises two locations but the manager and technician told me they only have one center. Also if you research Dr. Sam Tayar, he is not even a medical doctor of any sort. Then again I have been reading about them here and it’s not good.

Anyone have any clue about the truth to this center?

PS. sorry for my first post being negative but I wasn’t intending on ending up on a forum after researching them but I know forums have credible info.

There is enough information about them on this Forum for the past 3 years for you to make an informed decision. Just check all the previous postings.

Since most newbies to the site seem to miss out on the way to do a search, I will take this time to mention that on the right hand side of the screen, just below the top banner is the search box. No need to hit advanced, as you need only type in Assara, and pages of posts come up.

Read what you find there, and make your decision.

Do keep us informed as to how your hair removal journey goes.

We like having the beginning, middle, and the end. Around here, we get lots of beginnings, fewer middles, and almost no endings.

As you indicated, you seem to have read reviews on them on this forum, which are not great. So I’m not sure what other type of help we can provide for you. I personally wouldn’t go somewhere with a multitude of iffy feedback. It’s not like NYC doesn’t have dozens of hair removal centers.

Seems to be a lot of “drama” with this place.

It’s a shame because they were nice but I don’t want to take any chances with their upper management.

Searching helped a lot, thank you.
