"Notorious" clients?

Yes, over the years, a few of my clients turned out to be infamous. Here’s one of them. I worked on Nick when he was 19-years-old. At the time he was full of life, very jovial and seemed normal. I removed shoulder hair. Wish I could list the more famous clients (still making headlines: good ones!).

Happens in any industry.

30 years ago, I used to work as a red seal chef. I spent 4 days training on the job with none other than Julia Child. An experience I still remember fondly to this day.

Up until the 80s it must have been fun to be an electrologist in LA where probability of treating famous actors, musicians was high.
Now, most of them flock to laser hair removal offered by plastic surgeons and top dermatologists. Some of the famous TV anchors on channels like CNN, ABC and a few hip-hop celebs walk around with teeth done by my dad. Of course it’s all HIPPA privacy thing and dad can’t brag about it in public. lol

Old Electrology Tidbits and Lore -

In 1981, I met an elderly Los Angeles electrologist (cannot remember her name), at a Las Vegas convention claiming Linda Ronstadt was one of her clients in the 1970’s. The electrologist claimed she worked in Hollywood during 1935. The one-hour fee for electrolysis at the time was $6.00. In 1978, her 21-year old grandson and 150 other passengers were killed in the PSA flight 182 plane crash in San Diego.

I had some correspondence about laser hair removal with dermatologist Richard Sharpe. Then this happened.
