hi since i turned forty i have noticed ear and nose hair - can someone tell me the best way to get rid of it ?
i’ve tried trimmers but maybe there is a really good one that i don’t know about or another method?
many thanks
charlie
Hello
Short term solutions are to just trim it, but if you want a more long term solution I would look into electrolysis. I have had some ear hair removed with electrolysis (thermolysis) and the results have been good but it can be a bit uncomfortable on the face compared to other areas of the body. I figure a bit of short term discomfort is worth it for the long term solution to the hairs.

Electrolysis doesn’t have to be very painful.
You might not be able to remove all the nose/ear hair that you have. Generally electrologists won’t touch the hair all the way in your nose or ears. I mean the hair on mucous membranes, but otherwise, there is no better solution.
The permanent results far outlast the short term discomfort. There are topical creams and gels that can make the treatment more comfortable for more sensitive areas. If you can find someone experienced in working these areas, and you follow the post treatment care, you will be fine.
Just understand that we can’t treat a hair that we can’t safely make an insertion on.

Is it actually possible to remove hair on the ears? I have light ears and the black here on them are noticeable. Should I try for electrolosis?
Of course, it is possible! It works well to permanently remove hair anywhere.
Thanks. : )
It must be stated, however, that some people won’t work on nose and ears because they are afraid of mistakes in the area, or believe it is not lawful to work that area where they live. It may not be as easy to find someone to do this work depending on where you live.
